This blog is linked from our flyer and aims to provide more information on volunteering. Volunteers will be working on a unique conservation project with an endangered species only found in the Connecticut River Valley.

We are looking for eager volunteers aged 18 years and older. We are located at the USFWS Cronin Aquatic Resource Center in Sunderland, MA. It is accessible via car, bike and bus!

Volunteers will be helping with feeding of Puritan Tiger Beetle larvae. We are looking for volunteers who can volunteer at least one 2-3 hour period per week between the hours of 8am and 430pm. Some weekend morning help is needed, so there is also a possibility for weekend help. All volunteers will go through a training process with the laboratory supervisor, so no previous insect, laboratory or conservation experience is needed!

We encourage anyone who is remotely interested in insects, conservation or learning new skills to contact us. This is a great experience to add to resumes and is definitely helpful if you are interested in working for the USFWS. Volunteers are vital to the success of our project, so please see contact information below!
